We’re thrilled to announce that Tom has joined Watkinson Laird Rubenstein as a new attorney, bringing nearly 20 years of experience advising entrepreneurs, executives, ownership groups, and growing businesses.

As a business attorney, outside general counsel, and strategic advisor, Tom has worked with clients across a wide range of industries, providing counsel on commercial transactions, corporate governance, employment matters, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, and strategic business decisions.

But Tom brings more than legal experience to his work. Having also served as General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer, as well as a founder and business owner himself, he understands firsthand the operational realities and challenges that businesses face. That experience informs his practical, business-focused approach to helping clients manage risk, navigate growth, and make confident decisions.

Tom is a graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law, where he earned certificates in Business Law and Tax Law. He is also actively involved in the local community, having served as a Lane County Bar Association board member, CASA volunteer, school volunteer, and youth sports coach.
