Michelle has 14 years´ experience in civil litigation in state and federal courts. She practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, construction contract disputes and liens, landlord-tenant law, administrative law, and bankruptcy. Prior to joining the firm, Michelle also practiced insurance defense law. She has served as a Judge Pro Temp, an Administrative Law Judge, and as a Law Clerk to the Chief Judge of the United States Claims Court in Washington, D.C.
Professional and Community Activities
Michelle is a member of the Oregon (2000), California (2003), Washington (2008), and Indiana (1993) State Bars, the Lane County Bar Association and the Oregon Women Lawyers Association. She is the author of "Suing and Defending Corporate CEOs," The Oregon State Bar Bulletin (December 2002).
