Professional Experience

Michelle is a member of the Oregon, California, and Washington Bar Associations. She is admitted to practice in all U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts in Washington and Oregon as well as Northern and Central U.S. District and Bankrupty Courts of California. She joined the firm in 2006 and became a shareholder in 2009. Michelle has practiced law since 1993 including as an administrative law judge, a judge pro tem, and an arbitrator. She was a judicial intern for the Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C., drafting public contracting, tax appeals, and taking decisions. Michelle's civil litigation practice emphasizes creditor's rights, contact disputes, contested wills, guardianships and conservatorships, construction litigation, medical provider licensing board disciplinary defense and physician credentially disputes, and administrative law.

Professional and Community Activities

Michelle is a member of the Roland K. Rodman Inn of Court, the Debtor-Creditor and Construction Law Sections of the Oregon State Bar, and the Oregon Women Lawyers Association. She is a member of Rotary Club International and recently completed the Oregon Department of Human Services Domestic Violence Crisis Intervention Training program and volunteers her pro bono legal services at Womenspace.
