Professional and Community Activities
John has served on the executive committee and as chair of the Business Law Section of the Oregon State Bar and on the executive committee and as secretary of the Real Estate and Land Use Section of the Oregon State Bar. John has written numerous articles and has served as a lecturer in several seminars on a wide range of real estate and business law topics. He has been both an editor and chapter author of the Oregon State Bar publication, Foreclosing Security Interests. He was selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America and is listed as one of the top 5% of Oregon attorneys in the Oregon Super Lawyers 2007 publication. John has served on numerous community boards and committees serving twice as president of the Eugene Symphony Association.
